Return & Refund Policy – Safar Travels

At Safar Travels, we strive to deliver seamless and memorable travel experiences. We understand that plans can change, and this policy outlines the terms under which cancellations, returns, and refunds are processed. This policy is designed in line with industry standards followed by leading travel service providers.


This policy applies to all travel services booked through Safar Travels, including but not limited to:

  • Holiday packages
  • Hotel bookings
  • Flight and train reservations
  • Transportation services
  • Visa assistance
  • Activity and experience bookings

a. Holiday Packages

  • 30 days or more before departure: Cancellation charges may be minimal; the remaining amount is refundable after deductions
  • 15–30 days before departure: Up to 50% of the total booking amount may be charged
  • 7–15 days before departure: Up to 75% of the total booking amount may be charged
  • Less than 7 days / No-show: 100% cancellation charges may apply

Note: Exact charges may vary depending on suppliers, destination, and peak season conditions.


b. Flights & Trains

  • Cancellation and refund are subject to the respective airline or railway policies
  • Convenience fees charged by Safar Travels are non-refundable
  • Refund timelines depend on the service provider

c. Hotel Bookings

  • Refund eligibility depends on the hotel’s cancellation policy
  • Non-refundable or promotional bookings may not qualify for refunds
  • Early check-out or no-show may result in full retention charges

3. Refund Process

  • Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–15 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation
  • Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment unless otherwise agreed
  • In case of delays caused by third-party vendors (airlines, hotels, etc.), timelines may vary

4. Non-Refundable Components

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Visa fees and processing charges
  • Travel insurance
  • Service or convenience fees
  • Certain promotional or discounted bookings are clearly marked as non-refundable

5. Amendments & Rescheduling

  • Changes to bookings (dates, destinations, traveler details) are subject to availability and supplier policies
  • Amendment charges may apply in addition to fare differences
  • Some bookings may not allow modifications

6. Cancellation by Safar Travels

In rare circumstances where Safar Travels must cancel a booking due to unforeseen events (natural disasters, political unrest, supplier issues, etc.):

  • Customers will be offered an alternative arrangement or
  • A refund, subject to recovery from third-party providers

Safar Travels is not liable for additional expenses incurred outside the booking.


7. Force Majeure

No refunds or liability shall arise in cases of events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemics or health emergencies
  • War, strikes, or civil disturbances

Refunds, if any, will depend on third-party vendor policies.

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email
  • Refund eligibility is determined based on the date we receive your request
  • Customers are advised to review specific booking terms before confirmation
